Types of Immunity System And How It Works



Your immunity system is your body’s defence mechanism. The immune system varies with each body, as a general rule, it becomes stronger during adulthood as, by this time, we have been exposed to more pathogens and developed more immunity. That is the reason teens and adults tend to get sick less often than children. Though we already have a form of this superpower because of our immune system sometimes the immunity shield gets damage and we need to reconstruct it through Immunity Herbal Supplements, medicines or chyawanprash.

There are types of immunity in humans: 
  • Innate immunity:  A human body is born with some level of immunity to invaders. Human immune systems, similar to those of many animals, will attack foreign invaders from day one. Innate immunity is the first line of defence against pathogens. It involves several cell types, proteins, and even an organ. The organ involved is your skin. It protects you and prevents pathogens from getting inside your body.
  • Adaptive (acquired) immunity:  You are exposed to diseases or get vaccinated, we build up a library of antibodies to different pathogens. This protects from pathogens develops through life. 
  • Passive immunity: This is a type of immunity system which "acquired" from another source, but it does not last indefinitely. For example, a baby receives antibodies from the mother through the placenta before birth and in breast milk following birth. This passive immunity shields the baby from some infections during the early years of their life. 
  • Immunizations: An immunization introduces antigens or weakened pathogens to a person in such a way that the individual does not become sick but still produces antibodies. Because the human body saves copies of the antibodies, it is protected if the threat should reappear later in life.
